RAW: artist's interview published on their site

I am very excited to have some brand new work samples and a very fun interview published over at:

It is the first interview that I've done where they seemed really curious about how my long held views on illustration relate to my current fine art experiments.  I am so grateful for the interest.

They also set up a nice little page for me to introduce myself to potential creative collaborators, which is also much appreciated.

You can follow the RAW Blog, which features artists worldwide at:

Wall Street Pirates (not a new baseball team)

I've uploaded a new image and T-Shirt on my Society6 page:

I also have added my original, 'Epic Perspective' version as a sticker on Redbubble, just click on the image below:

Or, the less epic but more straightforward sticker version here:

So pay your good, hard-earned money, buy a bunch of stickers, and plaster them all over your civic and financial centers.  Then we'll see the kind of change that free market capitalism can really bring.

Circular Peculiar Exhibit, August 9th to November 9th, 2012

I'll be having a solo showing of selected Glump pieces in the lovely exhibition space of the new Parman Branch Library at Stone Oak.  It's a beautiful venue and is well worth a visit if you get a chance.

Postmodern Animal Exhibit, 6-9 pm Dec. 2, 2011

For anyone who’s interested,

I’m having a new art show for the ArteReyes Gallery entitled the Postmodern Animal that encompasses several years of work.  The opening is upstairs in Building B at Blue Star on Friday, Dec. 2nd from 6 – 9 pm.  The work will include paintings, drawings, quilts, mixed media, sculpture, artist-proof prints and illustrated books.  It would be great to see you there.

After the show opens, I'll be posting the new work to my website at: www.karlfrey.com
